Murua is a clear exponent of the philosophy that inspires "Bodegas y Viñedos de la Casa Masaveu" wineries.

With classical reference in La Rioja Alavesa, the personality of their production is based on exclusively elaborating wines with grapes from their own vineyards, which cover 110 hectares in Elciego and the surrounding area. The lands are terraced and the soils are made up of a mixture of clay and limestone, and due to their cultivation we are retrieving the wines that have bestowed optimum prestige on the region for centuries, applying the latest advances in winemaking technology.

Depending on the quality of the harvest, Murua's average production is limited to 250.000 bottles, due to the meticulous fruit selection and the elegant craftsmanship which is present throughout the wine-making process.

Elegance, body and absolute respect for the soil aromas are Murua's main priorities.
